Pt Richmond History Association (PRHA) Maritime Richmond series. October 1, 2025, 6:30 PM “Dawn of Industrial Richmond” We trace the development of the Richmond shoreline from the mid-19th Century to the eve of WWII. We will focus on notables who turned Richmond into a major seaport and shoreline industrial center, such as Captain George Ellis, Jacob Tewksbury, John Nicholl, and Fred Parr.
