DESCRIPTION:Richmond’s Own\, Grammy Nominated\, Andre Thierry plays the Baltic Kiss! Come play wit’ us!\n\n\nAlthough born and raised in Richmond\, California\, Andre’s French-Kreole heritage is deeply rooted in Louisiana. He embarked on a path with specific knowledge and extraordinary talents at a very young age. True to his culture and love of music\, he has crafted a career well beyond his years as an artist.  \nAndre grew up experiencing the French Kreole (La-La) dances his grandparents held at their church parish\, St. Mark’s Catholic Church. The best Zydeco musicians Louisiana had to offer traveled to California to play at these dances. The exposure allowed him to develop his love for traditional French Kreole music. Andre regularly played with visiting bands\, such as the late John Delafose and many local Zydeco and Cajun bands\, including the late Danny Poullard (California Cajun Orchestra). By age twelve\, Andre formed his band\, “Zydeco Magic.” Andre is self-taught and constantly increases his repertoire. \nIn his 30’s\, he had already been deemed a legend. There is widespread agreement that he is an exceptional\, multi-dimensional musician with a finely honed ability to merge his accordions with musical mastery.

DESCRIPTION:Tickets $25 at the door!\n\n\nSan Francisco Bay Area is a major breeding ground for an abundance of musical talent\, and with this movement came Sven Soderlund\, who has 35 years of playing live locally under his belt as a rock & metal guitarist turned crooner/vocalist in his newest crooning big band project. A native of San Francisco\, Sven came from a musically talented family as his father played clarinet and saxophone\, and his mother played piano and vocals in a local rock band Timberline in the mid 70’s here in San Francisco \nAfter recording and playing live in multiple different metal\, rock\, & punk influenced projects as a guitarist\, Sven decided to branch out a bit with the knowledge and talent and start singing a style of music he heard as a young child\, and wanted to front an orchestra ideally for many years covering the likes of Frank Sinatra\, Tony Bennett and other classic crooners with his own twist recently that he’s working on such as adding some originals and rock songs that swing. “I’m here to bend the rules of this style\, and some people couldn’t believe I would do this\, so here we are. \nSven released his 1st album in Oct 2019 just self-titled “Sven & The Masterful Orchestra” available on all digital platforms like Spotify\, Apple Music/iTunes\, Pandora\, Deezer\, YouTube\, Amazon Music\, etc. And also a holiday single in Dec 2020 of the Mel Torme classic “The Christmas song”.
