SUMMARY:Tiki-Themed Pancake Breakfast on Red Oak Victory
DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a Tiki Pancake Breakfast and Wear Your Best Aloha Shirt !\n\n\nCome to the Red Oak Victory on August 20 and enjoy a hot\, fresh breakfast while listening to the live Aloha Swing Sounds of the Alcatraz Islanders just like the Red Oak‘s crew listened to in 1944. \nYour breakfast and donation to the ship is only $15 for adults and $5 for children 8 and under.  Breakfast service begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:30 PM.  For an extra tropical kick\, Mimosas will be available for a small additional charge for our adult patrons. \nA limited number of specially priced tickets will also be available for guests wishing to take a docent-led tour of the ship.  But you’d better buy those right away!  The tour tickets have sold out in the first couple weeks for most of our Pancake Breakfasts.   \nSpecial Contest!  We’ll select a few patrons with the best (or worst?) Hawaiian Aloha Shirts.  The winners will get to sound the ship’s whistle.  (It’s called a “whistle” but sounds like a foghorn!) \nOur radio room will be in operation so you can send a radiogram to anyone in the world.  Imagine you are on a tropical cruise in the 1930s and have the crew send your message via our original\, Morse code-only ship’s radio.  Just fill out the radiogram form including the recipient’s email or phone number and we’ll take care of the rest at no charge! \nLATEST UPDATE:  After breakfast enjoy the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby classic “The Road to Singapore” in our Hold 3 Theater!  There’s no charge for the movie which will begin at 1:30 p.m.  \nRed Oak Victory is located in the perfect spot for all around views of the entire San Francisco Bay Area.  So you’ll want to arrive early to reserve your seat with the best view! \nMost of our events sell out ahead of time.  We therefore strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets early because once they’re gone\, they’re gone!
